Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre

Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is about a 35 minutes drive from Moya Safari Lodge.

Moholoholo is nestled in a picturesque setting at the base of the northern Drakensberg escarpment.

It has become a center for the rehabilitation and care of abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife.

Wild animals are brought to the center from all parts of South Africa to get re-introduced into their natural environment.

Animals that cannot be returned to the wild due to the nature and extent of their injuries are taken care at the center and become ambassadors of their speices to educate the many people who visit Moholoholo each year.

It’s a non-profit organization, relying completely on the support of the public.

Tours at Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre last approximately 2:30 hours and are taking place twice a day (09h30 and 15h00).
